New Game Play
Contracts
The Contracts System is a player-driven mechanism for characters and corporations to formalize work agreements with each other, providing an intuitive way to engage in direct commerce transactions in addition to those currently supported by the market. Auctions, Item Exchange, Loans, and Courier will be the first contract types introduced to EVE. Contracts will be an invaluable tool for corporation management, allowing tasks and missions to be created that are available at all times. Read more here.
Two new skills have been introduced for Contracts, one which increases the number of personal contracts you can create and one which increases the number of contracts you can create on behalf of your corporation.
Combat Organization
Gang mechanics have been revamped, including a new hierarchical fleet option allowing for better situational awareness, orders and broadcasts which are represented in the new seamless view. Please read this thread and this Dev Blog for full details.
Two new skills have been added for the revamped gang mechanics, allowing you to command larger groups of people.

Following the repeated poding of a noob AIC pilot (and Gimm's nephew at that) by Cartel Rangers [CARTE] a war declaration vote has been instigated for TDP.
Cartel Rangers [CARTE] will be issued a get out statement whereby the payment of 500 million isk to TDP will result in us withdrawing the declaration. Should they refuse a mere 500 million isk the price will then double to 1 billion isk.
The war shall continue until they pay up. Give them hell!

TDP Christmas celebrations commence on the 16th of December.
Our opening event will involve bringing as much chaos to the EVE universe as we possibly can in a kill or be killed pirating extravaganza!
So forget about those security ratings, jump into an expendable ship and start shooting the innocent!

Tomorrow morning both Slouch and Side will attend their first day at university. You have both been a central part of TDP for a long time now, fought our battles, suffered our losses and enjoyed our victories. I am sure I am not the only one who feels teamspeak and the various games we play will not be the same without you both around so much.
So good luck to you both, may the gods of learning smile upon you.

Unfortunately when I migrated the data from the old site there was no easy way to import the old news articles as news articles on this site, there were just too many differences in the format.
The old news articles are still available in the Front Page News forum which I did manage to port across. I have now locked that forum as from now on we will be able to directly comment on news articles from the front page, the old news forum will be read only for historical reference.

Well the hard part is done.
A big thanks to Jain'Zar for the work he is putting into the graphics!
The site isn't finished yet from a cosmetic point of view but it is fully functional.
I will add the new graphics when Jain'Zar has them finished and I still need to tweek the gallery template a little, but it all works, just looks a bit odd in places until I get it finished.
Feel free to explore the new features, just don't break it!
